Sarasota, Florida · 30+ years' experience
A quiet room, slow and even pacing, and a blend of Esalen, Myofascial Release, Kansa Wand and AromaTouch chosen for what your muscles are actually asking for. Sessions run from a 10-minute chair massage to 160 unhurried minutes.
With over 30 years of experience in massage therapy, I am passionate about helping you manage stress and improve your overall well-being. Stress is responsible for at least 80% of all illnesses. In our fast-paced, digitally dominated lives, nurturing human touch is essential for self-care. Join me in embracing the transformative benefits of regular massage therapy — it's not a luxury but a vital part of maintaining your health.
Rest your mind, relax your body and renew your spirit.
I have trained at massage therapy schools across Tennessee, Georgia, California and Florida. Many of the techniques I specialize in may not be widely recognized, but I love to blend these different modalities into a truly memorable, deeply relaxing and effective massage tailored to you.
I prefer to keep a quiet atmosphere while I work. It lets me listen to your muscles and lets you connect with your body, calm your mind and fully relax. For the best experience I recommend sessions of at least 90 minutes, though I personally enjoy offering 120- or 160-minute sessions.

Esalen is more of an approach to bodywork where, inside the framework, the therapist can use their favored modalities. For me the focus of Esalen is flow: helping clients to have a deeper awareness of and connection to their bodies. I use slow, even pacing to induce relaxation, long flowing strokes to integrate the whole body, and intuition to listen to the muscles and what they need. I do not like using deep tissue, because with the Esalen mindset we are not there to fix anything but to bring awareness to the mind about what is going on in the body and allow space for the body to heal. I would rather ask your muscles than force them. My specialty is head, neck and shoulder work, since most people wear their shoulders as earrings — sinus issues and headaches respond well to these techniques. I want my clients to feel the care and respect I have for them in the smallest details, from how I apply the massage cream to how I drape them. Slow down, re-center, re-group and find yourself again with Esalen.
This technique works on the fascial system of the body: a system of connective tissue that surrounds everything down to the cellular level. Fascia is composed of three layers — the collagen, the elastin and the ground substance — and it takes time to get through them and rehydrate the ground substance. MFR usually entails traction or holds lasting three to five minutes per area, until the fascial restrictions start to unwind and let go of the constricting hold they have had on bones, muscles and surrounding tissue. Trigger point work can also be used. It truly works at a deep level, but it can feel very subtle and relaxing, and chronic injuries, problems and conditions respond very well to it. MFR holds, with gentle rocking, reinforce a sense of safety and security, which lets you relax at deeper levels — so I can do detailed work on problem areas without causing discomfort or soreness afterwards.
This technique uses a tool made of bronze and wood; bronze is a very healing metal. The tool works on the piezoelectric system, the same system MFR works on. There are different sizes for different parts of the body — I use the small tool on the face and feet and the larger one on the larger muscles. The technique comes from Ayurvedic medicine and is great for reducing inflammation and adhesions or scars. A face massage with this wand feels fabulous and is very rejuvenating.
This is a very precise application of pure essential oils to the back, head and feet. These oils are known for their calming, balancing, anti-microbial, immune-boosting and energising properties, to name a few — and the body always benefits from the power of human touch as well. This treatment is recommended once a month, and is always worth considering when you have stress from work or family, cold and flu season, trouble getting enough sleep, air travel, emotional upsets, overworked muscles or a need for rebalancing.
Details of each modality are coming soon.
